What were you most excited about when planning your wedding?
The most exciting part about planning your own wedding is the bridalwear. I fell in love with the first outfit I saw at the bridal boutique and that was the one I chose. The jewellery all suited perfectly as well, and trying to match jewelry pieces is very exciting. Trying to find people to do your hair/makeup on the day can be very daunting, but you can get a few sample makeups done and that is fun too. Also planning the designs of the invitations, decor and the thank you cards are very enjoyable.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
My favourite part of the wedding was the actual ceremony. Agreeing to those sacred vows and walking around the fire as well as taking the 7 steps together is very precious to me. The photos with the family will always hold a special place in my heart
What advice do you have for brides to be planning their wedding?
Spend your engagement enjoying time with yourself. It is the last time that you will truly be you, while having your fiancee to have fun and talk about your exciting life ahead. It is very easy to get stressed out and bogged down by the nitty gritty details of the wedding. Remember that everything comes together on the day – whats important is the marriage that follows
